allergy-friendly air fryer s'mores ingredients - graham crackers, marshmallows and chocolate on a cutting board

Graham crackers, marshmallows and chocolate – put that combo together and you’ve got the ultimate allergy-friendly treat for the entire family. Roasting s’mores over an open fire is one of those activities everyone enjoys on a cool, crisp fall night or at an early spring bonfire, but sometimes making a fire and being outdoors isn’t an option.

How to Make S’mores without a Campfire

We tend to have unpredictable weather here in the Carolinas, and it’s not unusual for a thunderstorm to roll in. That can make roasting marshmallows outside a challenge. Air fryers change the game though – you can cook the outside to a perfect golden-brown hue and melt the center to a delicious gooeyness.

Ingredients for Allergy-Friendly Air Fryer S’mores

This three-ingredient recipe is super easy to make and only takes about 5 minutes. All you need is a few graham crackers, some marshmallows and a chocolate bar or two.

For this no-frills s’mores recipe, you will need the following:

  • 2 graham crackers
  • 1 Hershey’s chocolate bar
  • 4 marshmallows, or 2 large ones

I don’t have much of a sweet tooth these days like I did in my 20’s, but sometimes I just get a craving for melt-in-your-mouth chocolate that’s easy to devour. The graham crackers add the crunch to the treat and of course, marshmallows tie it all together.

If you’re making these for the kids and their friends for a birthday party or sleepover, allergy-friendly air fryer s’mores make a great treat. You can put the ingredients out and let each person create their own s’more.

And if you’re looking to switch up the traditional s’more, you can get creative with these suggestions:

  • Chocolate graham crackers
  • Cinnamon graham crackers
  • Strawberry marshmallows
  • Holiday flavors of marshmallows
