1cupflour
1/4cupplus 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
3/4tspbaking powder
1/2tspbaking soda
1/2tspsalt
1/2cupbrown sugar
1/2cupsugar
1/3cupcanola oil
1/2cupbuttermilk
1tspvanilla extract
1largeegg
White and Pink Vanilla Frosting
1cupunsalted sweet cream butter, softened
2 1/2cuppowdered sugar
3tspheavy whipping cream
1tspvanilla extract
1largepiping bag with star tip (any number 2-4 will work)
pink gel food coloring

Instructions
Valentine’s Day Chocolate Love Cupcakes
Preheat oven to 350°F. Line two 12-cup standard muffin tins with cupcake paper liners. Set aside.
In a large bowl, add together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt, and sift to combine.
Add in the sugar and brown sugar stir until combined.
Next, you will add the oil, buttermilk, egg, cream beer, and vanilla extract. Stir until combined.
Scoop the batter into each cupcake liner 3/4 of the way and bake for 17-22 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
Remove the cupcakes from the oven.
Transfer the cupcakes to a wire rack to cool.
White and Pink Vanilla Frosting
In the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, or in a large mixing bowl using an electric mixer, beat the butter on medium for one minute.
Gradually add in powdered sugar one cup at a time. Continue to mix until combined.
Add the heavy whipping cream and vanilla extract and mix on medium-high speed until the mixture is combined.
Split the frosting in half and mix in a few drops of pink coloring into one bowl and mix until combined well.
Scoop pink frosting into one side of the piping bag.
Scoop white frosting into one side of the piping bag.
Frost cooled cupcakes and gently place some valentines day sprinkles on top.
Carefully peel the “love” word off the wax paper and place into the middle of the frosting.
