Tips and Resources to Encourage, Educate, and Empower Food Allergy Moms

Peanut Allergy Mom was founded to share helpful, allergy-friendly recipes, resources and information that guide people toward better health while managing food allergies.

Today, I aim to inspire others to manage food allergies (specifically nuts) without being overwhelmed. Whether you are trying to manage food allergies, learn how to navigate expectations and accommodations, or simply need tips on how to talk with people about what you can (and can’t) eat, this website aims to help you on that journey while showing you that allergy-friendly food can taste great, too.

Accuracy and Credibility

I work hard to source reputable information from trusted sources, whether for a recipe or an informational article. I am committed to presenting diverse culinary recipes, cooking methods, ingredients, and nutrition information. If you find any information you feel is not credible, please feel free to contact me.

Editorial Independence

Information on this website is free from food industry stakeholders. While I may occasionally work with food-based companies or organizations, I only do so if the food or product fits allergy-friendly guidelines and is of the highest integrity. When content is sponsored, a clear disclosure will be present to maintain transparency.

ORIGINALITY IN RECIPES AND CONTENT

Original Recipes

Unless otherwise noted, most recipes are created from scratch by me, Becky Bergman, in my home kitchen.

Some recipes may be adapted from other sources to follow allergy-friendly principles. In these cases, full credit to the original author of the recipe is given, along with a link to the original recipe. Peanut Allergy Mom strictly prohibits recipe plagiarism to ensure that all its content is original and innovative.

Ethics and Healthy Eating Principles

Peanut Allergy Mom promotes healthy eating habits without compromising on taste. Dietary needs are considered wherever possible, and every precaution is taken to avoid misleading health claims.

Transparency in Culinary Information

Peanut Allergy Mom posts public disclosures of any affiliations and sponsorships and will never compromise on standards where potential conflicts of interest related to featured products or brands are concerned.

Should any inaccuracies be found, they will be promptly updated with the correct information. Peanut Allergy Mom is committed to avoiding inaccuracies in its culinary content.

Community Engagement

Peanut Allergy Mom encourages an interactive and respectful community through comment sections and social media platforms. I value respectful and constructive feedback from readers. Disrespectful or angry comments will not be published, as they are helpful to no one. Respectful feedback is always encouraged.

Editorial Accountability

The individual culinary perspectives of contributors on this site may differ while aligning with Peanut Allergy Mom’s commitment to promoting healthy eating and allergy-friendly living.

The editorial team shares responsibility for content review, fact-checking, and ensuring adherence to allergy-friendly and healthy eating principles.
